​Much of Local 811 is divided up into various committees, each with a unique mission. Each committee is responsible for determining its own priorities, agenda and strategy for accomplishing its goals.

Although the Grievance Committee members are elected to their positions by popular vote, the other Committee Chairs are appointed into their positions by President Leroy Taylor. President Taylor has made it a top priority to strengthen the overall committee structure at Local 811. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please contact President Taylor. Committee assignments are one of the most effective ways for you to make your mark on Local 811.
